After returning to his hometown of Orlando, FL, he became involved heavily in the scene there, which was exploding into one of the biggest in the world from 1996 – 1999.  The legendary Club at Firestone was making waves around the globe where he was resident for almost three years. After the politics of Orlando came crashing down on it’s late night culture, Ernie and most of the rest of the town took things back to the underground.  Since 2001, he has thrown countless dance parties and been involved in dozens of projects aimed at strengthening the City’s house and techno movements.  Along with a few others, Ernie has been named as one of the DJs responsible for Orlando’s switch from Breaks to House as the preferred dance music.  He has played along with MANY of today’s biggest names in the industry, and is a true champion for unity and prosperity within the electronic dance music community.
